Unraveling Mysteries
Vanessa continued to read the notebook. As she turned the page, she noticed that a few pages were missing and nowhere to be found. Then she started reading the next available page in the notebook.
Notebook:
“My school life was really good, but I had to change my school as 11th and 12th grade were not available in that school, so for my last two years of high school, I joined a new school. It was in the same town ;-; anyways, guess what happened at that time… It’s Covid time ;-; no more going anywhere, locked in your house, but but but… We had to give exams offline (just wanna cry now). Anyhow, I was able to pass with some decent scores and then I took admission in college, and now I am here in the second year of my college.”
After reading the page, Vanessa turned page after page to find nothing but empty pages (;-; feeling a little sad for her because no more peeking into someone’s life). Now Vanessa didn’t know what to do as she read this whole notebook to find the whereabouts of the owner of this book, but all she came to know was about the past life and current nature, feelings of the writer. Now it is as if she knows the person very well, how they are, she knows a lot about their past and how they handled everything, but she doesn’t know their name or face to recognize them in person.
she knows a lot about the author’s past and personality but lacks crucial details such as their name or appearance.
As Vanessa was feeling uneasy about the whole situation, a gust of wind came into her room, turned quite a few pages of the notebook, and it was about to fall off the table. Quickly, Vanessa caught the notebook. She held the notebook such that a few pages and the back cover of the notebook were in her hand, and the rest of the notebook was hanging. Vanessa placed the notebook properly on her table, and she was about to close the notebook when she noticed something on the page of the notebook which was in front of her right now.
Vanessa saw that there were some doodles on the side of the page, and at the bottom of the page, someone had signed their name as to claim that they drew these doodles.
